A man suspected of shooting at a car being driven in an Anaheim neighborhood early Monday morning was arrested after a standoff with authorities.

The car was apparently doing doughnuts near the intersection of North Olive and East Wilhelmina streets around 2:45 a.m. when the gunman came outside and fired several shots at the vehicle, Anaheim Police Department Sgt. Daron Wyatt said.
The vehicle, the driver and some nearby homes were struck by the gunfire, Wyatt said.
The unidentified driver was grazed in the leg and expected to be OK, Wyatt said.
The suspected gunman, Steven Flores, then went inside a home and refused to come out.
At one point, investigators believed he was inside the home with his 8-year-old daughter, Wyatt said.
During the standoff, police tweeted that a young girl had safely exited the residence.
Residents in the 700 block of North Olive Street were asked to shelter in place during the standoff.
Just after 10 a.m., police stated Flores was in custody after flash-bangs were deployed. He was booked on suspicion of assault with a firearm, shooting at an occupied dwelling/vehicle and a no bail parole warrant, police said.
Portions of North Olive and East Wilhelmina streets were closed during the police activity.
